The Grinch (2018) w/ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! 
Monday December 23, 2024 - Doors at 1pm, Screening at 2pm

"THE GRINCH GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA!
"I know just what to do!" The Grinch laughed in his throat.
And he made a quick Santy Claus hat and a coat.
And he chuckled, and clucked, "What a great Grinchy trick!"
"With this coat and this hat, I look just like Saint Nick!""

The whole family will love this adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic story. Featuring the voice talents of Rashida Jones, Pharrell Williams, Angela Lansbury, and Benedict Cumberbatch as the green meanie himself, THE GRINCH is a charming, funny, and ultimately uplifting story about the true spirit of the season.

But wait! There's more! As a special pre-show we will be watching the classic 1966 animated adaptation of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS featuring the positively classic narration chops of Mr. Boris Karloff himself! 

This free screening is being brought to Saskatoon by our wonderful friends and partners 9 MILE LEGACY BREWING who have supported the Broadway in so many ways over the years, not least of all by being a BROADWAY COMMUNITY BUILDER. We have a multi-tier membership system here at the theatre, and the Community Builder is the highest of those tiers, entitling the membership holder to a bevy of benefits and perks, including an exclusive screening. In true community building fashion, the folks at 9 Mile Legacy chose to open the doors of the Broadway to the public with their exclusive screening as a holiday gift to the city!
