Barbie (Margot Robbie) has the perfect life. Every day is the best day ever, her boyfriend Ken (Ryan Gosling) is gorg (even if he does beach off with Ken a little too much), and her friends Barbie, Barbie, and Barbie are perfect. So why is it that she has this nagging feeling that everything is a little off? A little…fake? In order to learn the truth of the world, she’ll have to go where no Barbie has gone before – the real world. Not everyone wants Barbie out of the box though, so she’ll have to fight for her newfound freedom or head back to the dream world forever.
There will be a costume contest (time to get creative!), preposterous drink specials and all manner brassy pageantry one would expect from a tipsy trip through the hyper unreality in Barbieland!
