In 1985 horror aficionados and gorehounds were spoiled rotten with the release of not one but TWO of the greatest films ever committed to the echelons of Zombie cinema in the form of genre godfather George A Romero's unflinching and nihilistic trilogy closer DAY OF THE DEAD as well as Dan O'Bannon's proto-meta-splatterpunk riot RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. Dark Bridges and The Broadway Theatre are proud to celebrate both of these unkillable beasts in one relentless night. First up, a new restoration of DAY OF THE DEAD courtesy of Red Band Releasing followed by one of the Broadway's patented barn-burning DRUNKEN CINEMA entries with RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD* .
Between films we will be awarding the best zombie costumes, so start getting creative now! Only the most MESSED UP specimens will be crowned!
