Drunken Cinema invites you into the swamp that is The Broadway Theatre (that's OUR swamp!) to experience the animated sensation that has spawned countless memes, memories, and even MORE movies. Return to the story that happened long, long ago (2001), near the land of Far Far Away, and witness an ornery ogre embark on a quest with a talking donkey to rescue a distressed damsel, just for some damn peace and quiet!
This interactive cinematic experience has layers - there will best popcorn this side of Duloc, themed cocktails, glowsticks, cards with drinking prompts, inevitable singalongs, and not to mention a fantastical crowd! What's more, attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best fairytale duds for the chance to win concert tickets and more Broadway Theatre swag!
DRUNKEN CINEMA is a series in Saskatoon, Toronto, Kitchener and Montreal specializing in interactive movie game nights for extreme movie buffs. The series showcases cult classics and hidden gems from the 1980s and 1990s, while also providing an interactive twist to enhance the viewing experience.
