Single mother Amelia is growing weary of her son Samuel's increasingly maniacal behavior. He insists that a monster is lurking in the house, so when Amelia finds a mysteriously placed book giving the presence a name – The Babadook – Samuel assembles dangerous handmade weaponry and terrifies schoolmates and family with his talk. Soon Amelia herself senses the Babadook as he takes over not only the house but her body as well. One of the more thrilling horror movies to come out in years, THE BABADOOK will leave you shivering and breathless.
