PWATISIMO means ‘dance powwow’ in Cree. PWATISIMO is a celebration of Indigenous youth and powwow dance culture. Students of Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools bring their form of expression and style of dance to the troupe. We have dancers in various tot, junior & teen categories: fancy, jingle, traditional, chicken and grass.

Led by the Indigenous Student Achievement Coordinator (ISAC), PWATISIMO makes various excursions and trips throughout the year including powwows, special events, schools & organizations.

Members of the dance troupe maintain good attendance and grades.
