In THE CARPENTER’S SON, Nicolas Cage takes on the role of Joseph, “The Carpenter” in a chilling, boundary-pushing horror reimagining of Jesus’s youth. Set in Roman Egypt, the film follows a hidden family: Joseph, Mary (played by FKA Twigs), and their son, known simply as “The Boy” (Noah Jupe). When The Boy’s mysterious powers begin to manifest and draw the attention of supernatural forces, the family is thrust into a violent spiritual war. Their rural sanctuary unravels as dark forces close in, forcing Joseph to confront a fatherhood he never asked for and a cosmic battle he may not be prepared to fight.
