Six new animated short films that explore characters facing unsettling forces—whether supernatural, psychological, or cosmic—as they confront manipulation, loneliness, death, and the unknown. Across surreal forests, cursed worlds, and shifting inner landscapes, each story follows a protagonist pushed to the edge of their reality in a struggle for agency, identity, or escape.

The Lost Echo (8 minutes, Canada)
Director Andrew Cyr-Marcoux

In a liminal universe where logic fades, a narcissistic narrator manipulates a lonely young woman trapped in a disturbing cycle of hatred and confusion. A poignant exploration of the inner struggle between power and powerlessness in a world devoid of meaning.

The Night Boots (12 minutes, France)
Director Pierre-Luc Granjon

While his parents are welcoming friends, a child leaves home in the middle of the night and enters the undergrowth, wearing rubber boots. There, a strange beast, curious and solitary, will lead him into the heart of the forest to meet the nocturnal creatures that live there, and so as not to be alone  again, will try to delay the child’s departure as long as possible.

MIRA (12 minutes, USA)

Ready to quit her dreams of becoming a celebrated accordionist after busking day after day for an isolating swamp metropolis that isn’t listening, young Mira finally gets a taste of recognition one evening when she meets Lore; a charismatic and successful performer who takes an interest in Mira’s talents. Giving into her charm and status, Mira finds herself playing hostess to the mysterious and talented singer as Lore’s self-serving behaviors make her increasingly more uncomfortable in her own home. 

Crow Man (8 minutes, Lebanon)
Director Yohann Abdelnour

A young girl lives with her grandfather in a small wooden house by a lake in the forest. She knows death, a weird creature, is coming to take her grandfather, and she wants to fight it.

Atom & Void (9 minutes, Portugal)
Director Gonçalo Almeida

In Valya’s burrow, a repeated rumbling disrupts her life, pushing her into the unknown. unexplored.

Shrine of Abominations (40 minutes, USA)
Directors Ross Kennedy, Skinner

On the cursed world of Orbus Kaal, Gar-Gnargorath, the malevolent leader of the council of wizards, tries to invoke the cosmic horror forms of Demotep to begin his universal plans of revenge and domination. Gar Gnargorath’s plans to gain power may not be so easy as the horrible being known as Morgogg also exists in this realm. Perhaps they should meet.
