The Salt Shaker Festival is coming July 10th to 12th to Manitou Beach with live music at a variety of venues in the height of summer! Block off the 2nd weekend in July in your calendar and join us for a shake'n'bakin salty good time celebrating some of the best live music on the prairies in the most beautiful beach town from here to Tofino!
The Sadies (Toronto, ON.)
The Sadies have played all over the world where, for the last 30 years, they have astonished audiences with their earthy arsenal of roots music, country, spaghetti western, surf, garage rock, psychedelia, and the slippery beast known as alt rock, all with uncanny precision and passion.
Rifle County Players (Calgary, AB.)
Formed in 2019, The Rifle County Players are self-described as “punks turned twangers,” dishing out country psych rock with just a hint of camp. RCP began with classic and outlaw covers mixed with spaghetti western-inspired instrumentals. Their songwriting chops and DIY recordings continue to evolve.
The Salt Licks (Saskatoon, SK.)
The Salt Licks formed in 2021 as an excuse for six pals to hang out and play their favourite classic country music, setting a collective goal to learn 600 songs by 2030. The Salt Licks are made up of members from several musical projects including The Barrelmen, Ellen Froese, Kacy & Clayton, The Local Group, Ride ‘Til Dawn, The Seahags, and more.
MONK (MC) (Regina, SK)
MONK is a multi-media pop princess from Regina, SK. Her unique style of dance and hip hop blends hard hitting drums and washed out synths paired with intimate writings on loss, love, and queer subsistence.
