Shaun Majumder is an award-winning actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director whose career has spanned more than two decades across television, film, and live performance. He currently stars as “Father Khatri” in MGM+‘s acclaimed series FROM and recently appeared as “Gary” in Peacock’s The Miniature Wife, opposite Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen. His recent work also includes portraying “Dr. Voor” in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Equally adept in comedy and drama, Shaun’s screen credits include 24, The Firm, Detroit 1-8-7, Unhitched, and Cedric the Entertainer Presents. Shaun first became a household name through his legendary seventeen-season run on CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes, where his singular voice as a performer and writer earned multiple Gemini and Canadian Screen Awards, establishing him as one of Canada’s most distinctive comedic talents. 

Today, Shaun’s creative focus is increasingly centered on authorship and original storytelling through his production company, LAFBOY. Conceived as a home for bold, emotionally resonant stories, LAFBOY is dedicated to creating work that moves people.
