The Salt Shaker Festival is coming July 12th to 14th to Manitou Beach with live music at a variety of venues in the height of summer! Block off the 2nd weekend in July in your calendar and join us for a shake'n'bakin salty good time celebrating some of the best live music on the prairies in the most beautiful beach town from here to Tofino!

Brian Sklar & The Western Senators (SK/AB): Saskatchewan's Grammy Nominated Polka Band, The Western Senators originated in Calgary, Alberta in 1973. The Western Senators now have 32 albums, 33 DVDs, 92 PolkaRama television shows, and a Grammy nomination to their credit. They have been featured at Minot`s Norsk Høstfest every year since 2006 (barring pandemic postponements), have made five appearances at the Kimberley Accordion Festival, have appeared at the Cleveland Polka Hall of Fame Awards show, and regularly headline at casinos across Western Canada and at Danceland, Manitou Beach, Canada`s last grand dancehall.

The Garrys (Saskatoon, SK): The Garrys  are a band of siblings from the coldest part of the landlocked Canadian prairies. Formed in the spring of 2015, The Garrys use layered 3-part blood harmonies, hazy sun-bleached melodies, classic lo-fi guitar tones, and syncopated surf beats to create a unique “doom-wop” sound, dripping with dark nostalgia and touched by psychedelic dread. Their music is likely to leave you with an urge to do the Watusi, bittersweet thoughts about slow-dancing with your middle school crush, or a nagging feeling that it’s not quite safe to go back into the water.

The Marmalads (Regina, SK): Regina's premiere instrumental band–the Marmalads–cut their teeth performing the surf-rock canon before refining their sound to include instrumental versions of pop, country, and rock standards. The Marmalads are the band that puts the bug in your ear; tune in and you'll hear world-class musicians putting their spin on timeless melodies; tune out and the Marmalads become the soundtrack to your good times.
