A confrontational, camp and seductive dramaturge. Slash Need have earned a reputation for putting on high-energy theatrical live performances. Heralded as the most talked about touring act in Canada, their commanding style of propulsive techno and metallic EBM serve as the backdrop to an unpredictable, ever-changing, and communal performance piece. Their debut album, SIt & Grin, is a blistering industrial debut, as unapologetic and brash as it is groundbreaking.
Fierce Tactility, thick grime and godless waves of manipulated racket collide with damaged, atonal industrial in a veritable vortex of ill tidings. Deep Infirmary will be realized in its trio iteration by its engineer Skot Hamilton (Adolyne, Grey Light District, etc) and two of his most trusted collaborators, Regan Atkings (Grey Light District, NJC) and artist Cate Francis.
DJ sets from:
WIL MASCHINE – Industrial strength authority from the Founder of ASYLUM, Wil Maschine brings Goth, Coldwave, industrial and many other eerie delights, giving saskatoon's strangest creatures grand occasion to haunt the dance floor. Dress to depress.

Born and raised in Fredericton, John Batt is the brain behind the popular instagram account Canada.Gov.Ca, curating stories from the obscure and often bizarre side of Canadian history and culture. The tales and memes ride that sweet line between education and entertainment, recounting yarns from the queer musical resistance in '70s Toronto bars or celebrating the inspirational FERO dumpsters, to skewering greedy Galen Weston. He's taken his one-man show—a cross between a Ted Talk and a couple drinks with a good buddy—on the road all over Canada, and counts Canadian music heavyweights like Springhill's Anne Murray and Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo among his loyal followers. It's not a podcast, it's not stand-up comedy. It's @canada.gov.ca.

C.O.L.A. is sort of a self-titled album. It’s an acronym for Cost of Living Adjustment, a fitting conceptual framework for the band’s third record. Why? Because C.O.L.A. considers, among other things, socialism vs. hell. It considers: rolling the dice of life. The eerie and sweet pangs that nostalgia can provoke. Cola, as a band, is defined by its “tasteful minimalism.” A deep appreciation for making music that is romantic, subtle, and deceptively intense.
Gizmo are Charlottetown rockers inspired by the guitar-damaged pop of 1990s American slacker bands and their contemporaries on Canada's East Coast. A 120 Minutes band for the Gen Z set, they breathe new life into their vintage influences with a distinctive songwriting style and a frenetic live show.
Formed in Saskatoon SK in July 2022 doing some Girlschool covers at local watering hole Black Cat Tavern, Lucy's Seduction are some solid rock'n roll toilet action come to life and ready to spray their brown riffage all over unsuspecting audiences. Imagine L7, Hole and Motorhead spitting glass and crashing through storefront windows, chased by sirens. Consisting of Brianne Jonsson (guitar/vocals), Cassandra Lavoie (bass/vocals), Shelby Gaudet (guitar/vocals) and James McKnight (drums), Lucy's are here for the good times, and all creeps and bummers can take a hike.

Ellen Froese is deftly penning head-turning songs that invite the listener to let go of the things that are getting them down. It’s flirting with self-acceptance while indulging in a hearty spoonful of self-deprecation; it’s trying to be “happy in the confidence of a solitary song”; it’s getting your friends on board for some cheeky country-folk tunes. And nobody does those quite like her.

Snake River formed in 2014, and has spent that time making seven records, and touring Canada. Snake River’s album – LOST ALBUM (2021) – is an excursion into previously uncharted sonic territory for the group. Like previous albums, it is set in the fictional town of Snake River Mountain, and features characters that listeners of the band will recognize. The album features contributions by members of Radiation Flowers and Shooting Guns. Snake River uses minimal elements to make each song a swirling psychedelic event – equal parts twang and jangle.

Formed, almost accidentally, in a shared east LA lockout, the members of Clarion came together to write music together in late 2023. They implemented efforts like layering multiple amps in stereo, panned left to right with different tones, to create an illusion of two guitarists. They tried every idea that came to mind, allowing the songs to become fully realized instead of rushed. The result is an immersive and youthful mix of shoegaze, post-punk, and Japanese rock. These recordings became their debut EP, simply titled Clarion.

A duo skilled at turning heartache and separation into danceable electronic alt-pop, Blue Hawaii is Raphaelle Standell and Alexander Kirby Cowan. They are based in Montreal and Berlin and combine those influences as a blend of European dance music with R&B/pop vocals to create a distinctly carefree sound, especially energetic and fun live, resonating with queer communities everywhere.
Bloodwork is a Saskatoon-based producer who's crate-digging has led to the perfect blend of rainy day hip-hop beats and dark, cinematic pop. Pulling samples from sources like J-Pop, French garage rock, grandma's old gospel recordings, and lost TV shows, Bloodwork's debut album, I Went Back in Time to Save You, creates an unforgettable soundscape akin to DJ Shadow, Madlib, El-P. and The Avalanches.
