Written and directed by Saskatchewan’s own Lowell Dean, WOLFCOP is a unique blend of horror, comedy, and action that follows the outrageous journey of Lou Garou, a down-and-out police officer with a penchant for drinking and slacking off. His mundane life takes a wild turn when he becomes a werewolf after a mysterious night of debauchery. Embracing his newfound abilities, Lou becomes a fearsome creature ready to take on crime in his small town.
With its campy charm and unapologetic absurdity, WOLCOP pays homage to classic monster movies while delivering a fresh, fun theatre experience. It’s become a cult favorite that celebrates the unconventional hero, reminding us that sometimes, embracing our wild side can lead to unexpected triumphs.
