8:00 PM / Broadway Theatre

Doors at 7PM. Show at 8PM.

“Damn, We’re in a tight spot!”

Bluegrass buffs, old-timey olivias, and dapper Dans rejoice: 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of  The Coen Brothers classic OH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU and it’s legendary songbook, and The Broadway Theatre has rustled up some irresistible fixings to pay truly unique tribute to both!

Credited by many Americana aficionados of esteemed authority as a vital turning point in the new millennium Bluegrass revival, the OH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU soundtrack was released 25 years ago to unanimous acclaim, enjoying a grammy win and platinum status eight times over, and becoming a decorated cultural phenomenon worthy of the unanimously heralded Coen Bros musical-comedy-adventure it was produced to accompany! To ring in the silver Jubilee of both the film and its soundtrack, local man-about-town Jaxon Lalonde has curated a veritable who’s who of Saskatchewan’s booming blue-grass scene to bring the soundtrack to life on the Broadway stage! A star-studded event to be sure, you will witness the likes of Belle Plaine, Blake Berglund, members of The Local Group,  Sonia Reid and Friends, Aryn El Hefe, Gil & Wil, Wyndham Thiessen, Maya the Bird and Joseph Desjarlais revive all of your favorite OBWAT tunes before your very eyes and ears!

As though all of this wasn’t enough, this once in a lifetime performance will be followed by a screening of the film itself!

Thank you to our promotional partner, Northern Light Bluegrass & Old Time Music Society.
