Writers: Wes Craven, Bruce Wagner, Frank Darabont
Stars: Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund, Craig Wasson
Widely considered the best sequel in the franchise, DREAM WARRIORS successfully pivoted the series from pure slasher horror toward dark fantasy. The film follows Kristen (Patricia Arquette in her film debut), who is sent to a psychiatric hospital after an encounter with Freddy Krueger. There, she meets other troubled teens who are being hunted in their sleep by the dream demon. With the help of Nancy, a survivor from the first film turned psychiatrist, the group discovers they can manifest unique special abilities within the dream world to fight back as Dream Warriors. Add in some Drunken Cinema elements and we’re in one hell of an opening night screening.
Drunken Cimema is an interactive drinking game played along to the movie and is 19+.
