True Mountain Laurel is the collaborative project of acclaimed Canadian artists Haley Blais and Sam Lynch, born from late-night harmonies, shared voice memos, and a deep creative friendship. Their debut collection, Angel So Bad, blends folk reverie and country yearning with warm, minimal arrangements featuring acoustic guitars, brushed drums, and pedal steel. Live, the duo perform without rigid setlists, creating intimate, spontaneous shows that feel like two friends singing the truth in real time. Between them, Blais and Lynch bring over 25M combined streams, Western Canadian Music Award wins, JUNO Master Class selections, major festival appearances, and support tours with artists including The Beaches, Peach Pit, Andy Shauf, and Faye Webster.
