GHOST IN THE CELL is a genre-bending, Indonesian masterclass that brilliantly fuses supernatural horror, slapstick comedy and sharp political satire. When framed investigative journalist Dimas is locked inside a high-security prison, he accidentally unleashes an invisible, bloodthirsty entity. Feuding gangs and corrupt guards must put aside their rivalries to survive a wave of grotesque, artistic murders. With practical gore, dance battles, and a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, this unhinged prison-slasher is a must-see social allegory.
