Director/Writer: Dave Boyle
Starring: Moeka Hoshi, Kurumi Inagaki and Kento Kaku
Dave Boyle’s Never After Dark delivers a frightening experience that flips the script on traditional ghost stories. Starring Moeka Hoshi following Shōgun, she anchors the film as a psychic medium trapped at a remote Japanese hotel. Her routine job spirals into a battle for survival against an entity breaking the rules of spiritual warfare. Backed by a dark look and score, Boyle’s script crafts an unpredictable nightmare. A late-game twist reframes the narrative, leaving the audience shaken.
With the short film HAPPY.
