There is a theory that every little choice we make could potentially change our lives completely, but in practice, all of the decisions can lead to pretty much the same outcome. That’s the basis for the creative crime thriller SEW TORN, and I don’t want to add too much more to spoil the genius of director Freddy Macdonald’s feature debut.
SEW TORN delves into the life of a young seamstress named Clara, who grapples with life-changing decisions after stumbling on a as-yet-unreported accident and crime scene. From here the film follows Clara as she discovers her passion for sewing, using it as both a creative outlet and a means of survival.
With striking visuals and one of the most creative scripts of the year, SEW TORN will have you guessing, and smiling, until the end credits.
